MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum age of 23 years
2. 24 months of over-the-road experience
3. No DUI, DWI, or Reckless Driving charges in the last seven years
4. No major preventable accidents in the last three years
5. Must be able to pass DOT physical and drug test
6. Must be able to verify last 10 years of employment
7. No felony convictions

COMPENSATION

Southland Transportation  pays Owner Operators for loaded and empty miles plus fuel surcharge.

INSURANCE

1. Covered under Southland's liability and cargo policies.
2. Physical damage based on the value of your tractor -- available through Southland
3. Bobtail Insurance $41.00 per month -- available through Southland
4. Worker's Compensation or Occ / Acc

ESCROW

1. Required escrow of $1,000.00 for fuel card and accident deductible taken out at $100.00 per week.
2. Accidental escrow is optional.  This escrow account is your money for repairs, taxes, tags, etc.  You determine the amount.
